Azur and Asmar by Michel Ocelot and Mia and the Migou by Jacques-Rémy Girerd are two film produced and released recently that give the best outlook of the french animation resounding success.

Michel Ocelot is also the director of Kirikou and the witch, a film of international acclaim.

Jacques-Rémy Girerd in the meantime is the producer and CEO of Folimage, a production company based in Valence, France, and working mainly on projects with environmental issues. One of his former works, “Frogs prophecy” got the special jury prize at the Berlinale, in Germany and won the grand prix at Ottawa, Espinho and Chicago film festivals.
